Here is a preview of my new book called What’s a Win For Us? The New Rules for Raising Kids with Joy. This is a followup to my first book The Qortex Circuit: Train Your Brain For Joy and Transformation.

The main concept of the book is how to raise kids using game dynamics and brain science. When I first formed the idea for the book, I thought to myself, we use gamification theory and see game dynamics in everything else from politics to economic development, what’s stopping us from doing the same for parenting and raising children?

Here is an outline of some of the concepts:

Keep the strong and weak together.
If you’re strong, respond with vulnerability.
If you’re weak, respond with courage.
Seek peace through Collaborative Change.
Acknowledge what you don’t know you don’t know.
Relentlessly pursue your triggers.
Recognize, reconcile, and release your emotional legacy.

Rules for Leadership

Do what you say you’ll do.
Do your best when doing it.
Don’t do dumb sh*t.
Don’t be afraid of mistakes (as long as you learn from them).
Be kind to yourself and others (especially with mistakes).

The new book will be offered through our crowdfunding campaign. I’m excited to share it as it collects years of coaching parents and children (including my own of course).
