Past - Present - Future Spread

Instructions

If you are playing alone, journal your answers for every step. If playing with a certified coach as a guide, relax and they will take the notes for you.

  1. This game should be done as a warm up before all other games and spreads.

  2. Shuffle the deck and lay down three cards fractal side up.

  3. Take a moment and meditate on the fractals and take a deep breath. Calm yourself and focus on what you see in the fractals and how your breath feels on your lips.

  4. Flip the first card and read it (look up the O-XX1 journey cards as needed). Then ask, “How does this apply to my past?”

  5. Flip the second card and read it. Then ask, “How does this apply to my present?”

  6. Flip the final card. Ask, “How does this apply to my future?”

  7. Look at all three cards and identity any common theme throughout (they may all appear to be random, which is OK).

  8. Ask yourself, “How do these cards apply to who I am?”

  9. Take a deep breath and focus on gratitude for the experience.
